Your outstanding faction invites can be viewed in the Factions page. Be sure it check your faction page incase you missed the invite. If this is set, then any faction invites you receive will not appear as popups on the screen. ![]() Just hang out in that city till you get it. and luckily with the business factions theyll send you an invite immediately when you install augs as long as you get invited the first time. It took 1 8 hour shift to get ecorp up to 500k reputation so they would send an invite to their faction. Hope it helps, if nothing else to serve as an example of how badly you can code and still have it work! A few of the cities seem to be a little slow on the invitation. but a good strategy is to go after faction and business rep increase augs as fast as you can. This function will automatically set you to start working for the specified faction. If you are not in BitNode-4, then you must have Level 2 of Source-File 4 in order to use this function. it should help new players who just reached bit node-5 to understand more how some things work if they don’t already. factionName ( string) Name of faction to work for. There is a more efficient way of doing it. Joining these factions and working for them will unlock Augmentations. Otherwise, also included in the script are my creator notes that explain what everything does, more or less. Eventually, after reaching certain criteria, the player will begin receiving invitations from Factions. I have written a 'small' Bitburner script to automate the post-soft-reset (Install Augmentations, entering after having destroyed a bitnode, etc. I should also mention this script won’t work unless you are on or have completed bit node-5, for obvious reasons. I’m self-taught thanks to this game and the various different people making helpful tutorials in here, so I understand if you want or need to tweak it to make the script more efficient. Earning reputation for a Faction unlocks powerful Augmentations. Also, cancelling work early when working for a Faction does not result in reduced reputation earnings. You will only earn reputation in your Faction and train your stats. This script moves you through every company that has an augment list that I’m aware of, checking if you have been invited each, setting you to work if you haven’t, and even auto-promoting you over time! That said, it’s probably full of redundancy, and is less than elegant to put it lightly. Working for a Faction is similar to working for a company except that you don’t get paid a salary. its main purpose is to work you through every company that has an augment list (hopefully), and even auto-promotes you if available!
